Google Nexus One is perhaps the most awaited Smartphone the world was waiting for. Integrated with the highly industrious features and aesthetic design the Nexus One perhaps stands as a paramount of mobile designing technology.
The whole set was co-designed by Google and Taiwan’s HTC corporation thus is co-named HTC Passion. It is now one of the fastest Smartphone sold in the market. The phone is basically built on Android OS system Version 2.1, with HTC’s designing technology while Google hovered over its specification.
Google Nexus has few standing features, so to mention, that makes the phone a pleasure to be used. Firstly, the sound system of the phone uses Google Voice and it is the single feature that takes this Android phone above the plane. This single feature enables you to assign your Google Voice number to the phone, and use it to make all outbound calls and text messages.
The Google’s Voice Keyboard both amazed and awed me with a stroke. It is one of the massive time saving features of the phone. It goes way beyond the Voice Search application that was launched in 2009.The text field of the device has been voice enabled. So for most of the application you can just choose the microphone button and talk into the phone. The Voice Keyboard converts your speech to text. The software is tested and is found to work with 90% accuracy. It consumes very little time to go in and edit the errors.
There is a new clock application that is really worth checking out. You require no other digital clock as this mobile clock application runs automatically in the charger doc, local weather, shows the time and has easy access bottoms to the pictures, alarm and music.
There is some eye candy and funky features that the Live Wallpaper of the phone features. From the setting you can choose plethora of wallpapers like the Magic Smoke (my favorite, clouds, draws smoke, plasmas and water in eye popping colors), Grass (blades of grass wave gently in front of a day or night sky),Polar Cloak (presents the date and time as clockwise arcs), and Water touch it and it ripples). All in all, the wallpaper just brings the whole nature inside yours digital screen.
The Google Nexus One is integrated with an in-built Settings Backup service that backs up profile, ringtone, application and other settings. Setting up a new Android phone after using the backup service is like a breeze.
Finally, there is lots of graphical design that makes this Google phone pretty cool. There is 3D scrolling of apps, and with the Cool Iris technology renders you the new way of viewing photos. The photos just dip into the plane and tipping the phone trips the accelerometer and the photos dip in the same way. All in all, the software features alone of this Smartphone makes it just apart from the rest.
